Butterfinger CHEEZ-ITS


Three Ingredient Mock Butterfinger Bars

I know it sounds weird for cheez-it's to taste like butterfingers, but they really do. You just have to get the right balance of peanut butter.

 My kids were surprised that these also tasted similar to butterfingers and a whole lot easier than melting down those 'candy corn' recipes. 

** To decorate for Christmas or any holiday, top with sprinkles if desired immediately fter dipping each sandwich ... but they a GREAT just the way they are! 


I simply used a generic brand cheese cracker, added a thin layer peanut butter and dipped them in milk chocolate using melted Hershey's milk chocolate morsels (all ingredients came from Walmart).

($2.98 or $0.15/oz ) Great Value Cheddar Cheese Baked Snack Crackers, 21 Oz.
($2.88 or 25.0¢/oz) Cheez-It Big Baked Snack Crackers, 11.7 Oz.
($4.00 or 22.0¢/oz) Cheez-It Reduced Fat Baked Original Cheese Snack Crackers, 19 Oz. 

Ingredients for a trial run - Yeild about 4 cookies

    1 cup Cheez-Its or 8 large size 'Cheez-It Big' crackers
    1/4 cup peanut butter
    1/2 cup dipping chocolate

Instructions

Step #1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step #2. Place a 1/2 teaspoon full of peanut butter on each Cheez-It.
Step #3. Use the remaining Cheez-Its to sandwich the peanut butter.
Step #4. Melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring after every 30 seconds.
Step #5. Let the sandwiches sit for 30 minutes at room temperature.
