Braunschweiger Dip

Braunschweiger Spread is a creamy, flavorful spread that is best served on your favorite crackers or lightly toasted bread.

So here’s what it is – it’s a sandwich spread (also makes a great dip for crackers) made from Braunschweiger, onion, dill pickles and a little bit of cream cheese.

Ingredients:
8 ozs.Braunschweiger
1/2 cup diced onions
5 to 6 baby dill pickles, drained and chopped
8 ozs. cream cheese + more or less if desired

Directions:
In a food processor pulse the Braunschweiger several times until it becomes very finely chopped, place in a large bowl.
Wipe out the food processor and add the onion bits and dill pickles, pulse a few times until very finely chopped.
 Add the onion/dill pickle mix to the Braunschweiger along with the cream cheese.
Stir to combine, keep chilled and spread on butter crackers or in-between to pieces of bread for a delicious sandwich!
