Assorted Covered Pretzels + Tips

Chocolate-covered pretzels are a delicious holiday treat, but just as with uncoated pretzels, chocolate covered varieties can quickly become stale. Proper storage or packaging, if you plan on gifting them, will prevent them from spoiling.
Place the chocolate covered pretzels in a GLASS or plastic container. Note: The container must be clean because the chocolate covered pretzels will absorb odors.
Close the container. Make sure you use an airtight container or the chocolate covered pretzels will go stale faster.
Place the container in a pantry or cupboard. Partially covered pretzels will stay fresh at room temperature or slightly cooler for at least several weeks.
Fully covered pretzels stay fresh for several months.

-- Warnings --

Don’t refrigerate chocolate bark. Condensation will occur when you take it out. When the water evaporates, dissolved sugar remains on the surface of the chocolate, leaving an unpleasant residue known as sugar bloom.
Don't store different kinds of pretzels together. Drier, crispier candies atop a pretzel can absorb moisture from wetter types and cause the pretzel to lose their crunch.
